How ranges are built

Our planning ranges combine published examples (manufacturer product and package prices), retailer listings and cost guides, installer and manufacturer room-planning guidance, and clearly labeled assumptions where public pricing is sparse, such as construction, finish work, and labor. Each source below records its type, the date we opened and checked it, and the specific figures we relied on, in our own words. Prices and guidance change often, so a linked page may show different figures today. See About and methodology for how these inputs become a range.

Guides and the Cost Planner name these sources in plain text; this page is where the full details and links live. Listing a source is not an endorsement, and we have no affiliate, sponsorship, or partnership relationship with any company listed here.

    • Ceiling mounting above and behind the hitting area is the most common approach and limits shadows.

    • Cart placement carries the highest shadow risk, especially with left- and right-handed golfers.
